Informing and Engaging Oldham's Voluntary and Community Groups
Voluntary Action Oldham is the main capacity building, voluntary and community sector development agency for Oldham; providing practical support services to voluntary sector organisations and community groups.
This includes helping organisations to identify funding sources, access information and recruit and support volunteers.
Voluntary Action Oldham also carries out strategic work in the Borough, bringing money and resources into the area.
It supports the representative body for our sector, providing representation on many of the panels and partnerships across the Borough; including the Local Strategic Partnership, lobbying and supporting the recognition of the voluntary sector as an equal partner within the decision making processes which affect our town.
TRAINING CENTRE CO-ORDINATOR VACANCY
Following refurbishments to create a welcoming and accessible town centre training venue, an exciting opportunity has arisen to co-ordinate and promote the development of our training centre where we will facilitate the provision of training covering all aspects of capacity building and development for voluntary and community groups.
